I’ve been dying to get this post up as the photos are truly incredible. I was able to have my camera in surgery and catch the deliveries of both Cade and Collin on film. Dr. Collins is the most amazing woman, the most amazing Dr. and by far one of the sweetest ladies I know. Lyndsay and I are very fortunate to have such a great person in our lives!
Lyndsay is not sleeping in the photo below, just resting her eyes before the surgery began. I held her hand during the complete process and talked her through it. She was very brave!

It was incredible to be able to photograph the surgery and all of the wonderful people that took part in our 2 little miracles births!

I never dreamed that I would be able to get photos of Cade and Collin being taken out of Lyndsay’s stomach during the C-section, but I was… and I did!!!

I was able to get a few photos of Cade and Collin after they were cleaned up and still in the Surgery room. I knew that family would not be able to see them for an hour or so and wanted to be able to share the twins with them immediately!

The travel rigs below are pretty badass! I’ve never seen transporters that look so rugged and cool. Cade and Collin traveled in these transport incubators from Mercy Centerville to Des Moines Blank Children’s Hospital.

More photos coming of course!!! It’s the beginning of day 3 for my precious baby poets!!!
